Welcome to Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc.

We use the latest ground penetrating technology to provide critical information on utilities, materials, and other potential obstructions within, or under existing structures. Fast and reliable, GPRS provides data in both two- and three-dimensions without delivering any radiation. All of our equipment is registered and meets all standard FCC regulations.

Utilizing GPR reduces risk and cost, and promotes a safe work environment by providing non-destructive testing for locating materials (such materials commonly include concrete, plastic, metal, and steel, although our equipment can be used in a variety of other applications). Prior to the construction of a new building, GPRS OKC used radar scanning to mark out the existing utilities within the area. GPRS marked electric, water, sewer and irrigation lines running within the area so they may be avoiding during the excavation process.

As you can see in the image to the right, the findings were marked directly onto the surface using marking paint and pin flags. The markings were communicated with the customer and understand before GPRS left the site. GPRS saved the general contractor significant costs related to damages and possible injuries.

Prior to the installation of new electrical lines, electrical contractor contacted Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. to scan the areas prior to core-drilling. Jay Tate-GPRS Tulsa, Oklahoma mobilized to the site in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma to perform a method of concrete x-ray within the suggested areas. Due to the portability of the GPR antenna, the radar imaging was performed quickly and accurately. Since the results were marked directly onto the surface, the customer was able to avoid any PT Cables, damage to the structure and injuries on-site.

Unlike x-ray/gamma ray, Ground Penetrating Radar is time efficient, non-hazardous and able to show real time results. The energy emitted is equivalent to 1% of a cell phone, therefore, the production of the construction site can continue without any radiation hazards.
