Concrete Imaging to Determine Structural Integrity - Thackerville, Oklahoma

When a general contractor needed to confirm the location/amount of the reinforcing steel and the non-grouted cells within the concrete block wall (CMU), they contacted Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. Wade Vickers-GPRS Oklahoma mobilized to a casino in Thackerville, OK to perform a GPR investigation of the CMU block wall. After the GPR was completed, the results were marked directly onto the surface. Ground Penetrating Radar is a non-hazardous, non-destructive method of concrete x-ray. Since the amount of energy emitted from the antennas is equivalent to 1% of a cell phone, the operator, employees and bystanders can continue production without potential hazards from the equipment.
