When an engineering firm needed to determine the amount and location of the reinforcing steel within the concrete beams, they contacted Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. to provide assistance. Wade Vickers-GPRS Oklahoma mobilized to the facility in Ponca City, Oklahoma to perform a non-hazardous, non-destructive method of concrete x-ray. Since Ground Penetrating Radar is portable and able to scan wherever needed, the work was performed on ladder to reach the needed areas. After the GPR scanning was performed, the results were marked directly onto the surface to give the customer knowledge of what lies beneath the surface.
