Concrete Scan for Reinforcing Steel - Tulsa, OK

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems-Oklahoma was contacted by a local fire prevention system company to locate the reinforcing steel within a wall prior to the installation of a new system. Wade Vickers of GPRS-Oklahoma marked out the reinforcing steel within the drilling areas at the local news construction site in Tulsa, OK. Wade was able to give the precise location and depth of the reinforcing steel, which gave the customer a clear area to drill. Since the results were marked directly onto the surface, the customer was able to avoid any reinforcing steel within the slab. Ground Penetrating Radar is time efficient, non-hazardous and able to show real time results. The energy emitted is equivalent to 1% of a cell phone, therefore, the production of the construction site can continue without any radiation hazards.
