Concrete Scan to Locate Reinforcement Steel Prior to Core-Drilling - Wister, OK

When a general contractor needed to locate the reinforcing steel within a concrete wall prior to core-drilling, they contacted Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. to provide assistance. Wade Vickers-GPRS Oklahoma mobilized to Lake Wister, Oklahoma to perform a non-hazardous, non-destructive method of concrete scanning. Since Ground Penetrating Radar is portable and able to scan wherever needed, the work was performed on scaffolding beneath the bridge. After the GPR scanning was performed, the results were marked directly onto the surface to give the customer and driller a clear area for drilling.
