Concrete Scanning For Reinforcing Steel Within A Concrete Beam - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

During the renovation of an existing building in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, a general contractor needed to drill through a concrete beam to install new lines. Wade Vickers of GPRS-Oklahoma mobilized to the site and used the leading ground penetrating radar system to scan the suggested drilling area. After a thorough GPR investigation was performed, the reinforcing steel was marked directly onto the surface using black crayon. Since the findings were shown on the surface, the structure’s integrity was not damage during the drilling process. Using Ground Penetrating Radar, GPRS can provide solutions for your concerns that cannot be seen.
