During renovation of the OU Children’s Hospital site in Oklahoma City, a construction company needed to avoid the reinforcing steel when anchoring in the guardrails on the columns. Wade Vickers of GPRS-Oklahoma was able to show the vertical and horizontal reinforcing steel within the structure. Since Ground Penetrating Radar is able to show real time results, the results are then marked directly onto the surface to give the customer knowledge of what lies beneath the surface.
