Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. recently worked for a homeowner. During the construction of the new home, the homeowner had concerns regarding the existence of reinforcing steel within its stem wall. Wade Vickers of GPRS-Oklahoma mobilized to the site and used the leading ground penetrating radar system to scan the areas of concern. After a thorough radar imaging was performed, the results were communicated with the homeowner. Unlike x-ray/gamma ray, Ground Penetrating Radar is time efficient, non-hazardous and able to show real time results. The energy emitted is equivalent to 1% of a cell phone, therefore, the production of the construction site can continue without any radiation hazards.
