When an environmental company needed to collect soil samples at a manufacturing facility, they contacted Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. to mark out any underground utilities within the soil boring areas prior to drilling. Wade Vickers of GPRS-Oklahoma located multiple electrical conduits and other utilities, which were then marked directly onto the surface. Since GPR shows data in real time, the results are marked directly onto the surface to give the customer and driller knowledge of the obstructions beneath the surface. This ensures the customer can drill safely without costly setbacks and injuries.
