GPRS, Inc. Verifies Rebar Location And Depths - Dallas, Texas

When an inspector had concerns regarding the depth and the spacing of the rebar within the bridge, a Highway & Bridge construction contractor contacted GPRS to scan the areas before drilling took place. Wade Vickers-GPRS Oklahoma mobilized to the bridge site in Dallas, TX to perform the ground penetrating radar process. Due to the convenience of the GPR system, the scanning was performed quickly and accurately. Since the results were marked directly onto the surface and discussed with the customer, the information was available when needed. Unlike x-ray/gamma ray, Ground Penetrating Radar is time efficient, non-hazardous and able to show real time results. The energy emitted is equivalent to 1% of a cell phone, therefore, the production of the construction site can continue without any radiation hazards.
