Prior to the construction of a new building, Ground Penetrating Radar Systems-Oklahoma was contacted by a general contractor mark out any underground utilities within the proposed building area. Wade Vickers-GPRS Oklahoma mobilized to the site and gave a precise location of the communication, gas and electric lines within an estimated 5 acres. A thorough GPR investigation was performed and multiple known and unknown utility lines were located. Since GPR shows data in real time, the results were marked directly onto the surface using marking paint and pin flags to give the customer and workers knowledge of the utilities location beneath the surface. This ensures the customer can dig safely without costly setbacks and injuries.
