Ground Penetrating Radar Systems-Oklahoma was contacted by a General Contractor after discovering the main electric lines running directly beneath the slab. Wade Vickers-GPRS Oklahoma mobilized to the site and provided knowledge of the lines’ location and depth. After GPRS’s process was complete, the line was determined to be directly underneath the slab and intersecting the proposed saw-cutting area. The findings were marked directly onto the surface and the customer was able to saw-cut safely. Using GPRS reduces risk and cost, promotes a safe work environment, and provides non-destructive testing by locating materials such as concrete, plastic, metal, steel, and pavement.
