Wade Vickers of GPRS-Oklahoma was contacted to mark out the post tension cables and reinforcing steel within the drilling areas at a casino in Tulsa, OK prior to the installation of new electrical conduits. Wade was able to give the precise location and depth of the post-tension cables, which gave the customer a clear area to drill. Since the results were marked directly onto the surface, the customer was able to avoid any post tension cables within the slab during the drilling process. Unlike x-ray/gamma ray, Ground Penetrating Radar is time efficient, non-hazardous and able to show real time results. The energy emitted is equivalent to 1% of a cell phone, therefore, the production of the construction site can continue without any radiation hazards.
