Reinforcing Steel Located for Electrical Contractor in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

When new conduit holes needed to be core-drilled through multiple areas on the wall, an electrical contractor contacted Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. to mark out the reinforcing steel at the Dell Buildings in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After a thorough concrete imaging investigation was performed, the precise location and depths of the rebar were marked directly onto the surface using black marking crayon. The markings gave a clear indication of what lies beneath the surface. During the drilling process, the customer was able to avoid any reinforcing steel within the wall. Unlike x-ray/gamma ray, Ground Penetrating Radar is time efficient, non-hazardous and able to show real time results. The energy emitted is equivalent to 1% of a cell phone, therefore, the employees can continue working without any radiation hazards.
