Before an Electrical contractor started installing new electrical utilities, Wade Vickers of GPRS- Oklahoma was contacted to locate any existing underground utilities along the path for the new electrical utilities. Ground penetrating radar was used to locate any utilities, which were marked out with orange spray paint and pin flags. The accurate depth of the underground utilities was also directly marked on the surface. Ground penetrating radar is completely non-hazardous, using about 1% of the radiation emitted from a cell phone.
