When an environmental company needed to collect soil samples, they contacted Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. to mark out any underground utilities within the soil boring areas prior to drilling. Wade Vickers-GPRS Oklahoma mobilized to the site and gave a precise location the underground utilities within the suggested boring locations. If no utilities were found within the areas, GPRS provided a mark to communicate with the driller. Since GPR shows data in real time, the results were marked directly onto the surface to give the customer and driller knowledge of the utilities located beneath the surface. This ensures the customer can drill safely without costly setbacks and injuries.
