Prior to the construction of a new building, a sawmill in Idabel, Oklahoma needed to know the location of the existing underground utilities. Wade Vickers-GPRS Oklahoma used ground penetrating radar to locate the water lines, electric lines and communication lines within the proposed 2 acre site. Since GPR shows data in real time, the results were marked directly onto the surface using orange marking paint and pin flags to give the customer and excavator knowledge of the utilities located beneath the surface. This ensures the customer can dig safely without costly setbacks and injuries.
